Field Technician, Signal Hill, CA

We are currently looking for a Field Technician that is dynamic and motivated to work in the Signal Hill office.    

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years field experience including remediation system operation and maintenance, drilling and sampling of groundwater and soil samples and be 40-Hour OSHA trained.

What you get to do:
As an integral part of the project team you will be directly responsible for overseeing field activities and providing superior environmental services and customer support.  Other job duties include;

• Understand and maintain conformance with client's policies and procedures.
• Sampling of groundwater, soil and vapors
• Work primarily in the field
• Occasional travel
• Coordinate with technical staff to ensure client and regulatory requirements are met
• Ability to work independently in the field and document field activities through the timely completion of field forms and other records.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years in environmental services consulting
• Ability to work independently and be self-reliant
• Must have mechanical aptitude including operation and maintenance of treatment equipment
• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Must be honest, reliable, resourceful and motivated
• Must be able to speak and write clearly and concisely in the English language
• Must possess a valid drivers' license and own a vehicle
