Project Engineer, Thousand Oaks, CA

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer who is dynamic and motivated to work in the Thousand Oaks office.

The ideal candidate will have an educational background in environmental, chemical or civil engineering or related studies, and a minimum of three years environmental consulting experience in chlorinated and petroleum related contamination.

What you get to do:
Provide engineering support with special emphasis on investigation and remediation.  Other job duties include:

• Client and regulatory interaction.
• Understand and maintain conformance with client's policies and procedures.
• Develop strategies and work scope to satisfy client and project needs.
• Manage and oversee engineering aspects of projects, working with dedicated and shared staff.
• Assure project quality, budget, schedule, and deliverables.
• Review and clarify reports and deliverables. Manage internal and external due dates.

Other Duties:

• Identify and develop methods and processes to improve group efficiency and/or client satisfaction.
• Identify and stay current with technical and regulatory developments in the industry.

What we are looking for:

• BS/BA in Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• 3 – 5 years in industry with emphasis on contaminant investigation and remediation design, installation and operation.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-hour Refresher.
• Must be able to speak and write clearly and concisely in the English language.
• Must possess a valid drivers' license and own vehicle.
