Project Geologist, Pleasant Hill, CA

We are currently looking for a Project Geologist who is dynamic and motivated to work in the Pleasant Hill office.

The ideal candidate will have an educational background in geology or related studies; three to five years environmental consulting experience, including familiarity with drilling and sampling of groundwater and soil samples. Completion of 40-Hour OSHA training is also required.

What you get to do:
As an integral part of the project team you will be responsible for conducting field oversight of various environmental assessment and remediation activities, preparing environmental data tables and written reports, as well as providing superior environmental services and customer support. Other job duties include:

• Understand and maintain conformance with client's policies and procedures.
• Provide field oversight for environmental assessment and remediation projects including drilling, borehole logging, soil and groundwater sampling and monitoring well installation.
• Prepare environmental data tables and written reports.
• Coordinate and prepare permit applications necessary for conducting environmental studies.
• Work closely with other technical staff to ensure client and regulatory requirements are met.

What we are looking for:

• BS in Geology, Environmental Science or related studies
• Three to Five years experience in environmental consulting including field work and report writing.
• Must be honest, reliable, resourceful and motivated.
• Must be able to speak and write clearly and concisely in the English language.
• Must possess a valid drivers' license and own a vehicle.
