Senior Hydrogeologist, Geologist or Senior Engineer, Pleasant Hill, CA
We are currently looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist, Geologist or Senior Engineer that is seasoned, dynamic and motivated to work in the Pleasant Hill, California office.
The ideal candidate will have an educational background in Environmental Engineering, Geology or Hydrogeology and several years’ hands-on experience working with environmental remediation projects as well as solid client contacts.
What you get to do:
Assist the Principal Hydrogeologist in the operation and growth of the Pleasant Hill office including winning and managing projects and being a technical lead on projects and mentoring junior staff. Other job duties include;
- Assist with business development, proposals and cost estimates.
- Client and regulatory interaction, may act as primary point of contact for one or more clients.
- Understand and maintain conformance with client's policies and procedures.
- Develop strategies and work scope to satisfy client and project needs.
- Efficiently manage and oversee projects, working with dedicated and shared staff.
- Assure project quality, budget, schedule, and deliverables.
- Review and clarify reports and deliverables.
- Manage internal and external due dates.
- Oversee project invoicing.
Other Duties:
- Identify and develop methods and processes to improve group efficiency and/or client satisfaction.
- Identify and stay current with technical and regulatory developments in the industry.
What we are looking for:
- BS/BA in Geology, Hydrogeology or Environmental Engineering required.
- Minimum of 10 years in industry with emphasis on contaminant investigation, remediation design, installation and operation.
- Solid client relationships and ability to market and develop new business.
- 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER and current 8-hour Refresher.
- Professional Geologist/Hydrogeologist or Engineer registration preferred.
- Must be able to speak and write clearly and concisely in the English language.
- Must possess a valid drivers' license and own vehicle.
